A Heart, Like a Vase
My heart is like a vase
When you break my heart with cruel words my heart, like a vase shatters with yours blows
You glue me back together, but I’m weaker to your words
I hear so many of your hateful words I can’t withstand any longer
I’ve been broken too many times and you can’t glue me back together again
My heart is truly broken now and can’t be healed by you any more
I pack up my old vase as you drive away
All the tears you have made me shed and the hurtful words disappeared, just like you

We are all looking for the right person, at the right time, and in the right place. This poem is about that person you though was "the one", that you met and the right time and place, but what you actually found was something you didnt want to discover, something you didnt want to happen. People change, they let you down, make wrong decisions and sometimes leave you broken-hearted.
