Foresight
And when I look into your eyes
I see the next eighty years of my life
I see a small wedding at our church
Just friends and family and
Tears of joy
I see tiny apartments and dogs
Pizza for dinner and
Off beat coffee shops with new, strange music
I see a little house with
A flourishing garden and
One boy and
One girl
I see sleepless nights
Laying in bed laughing at ourselves
Our legs tangled together in the sheets
I see the grey hair
The slight wrinkles and
Watching our children grow like our garden
Flourishing
And I see us growing older
Holding hands and
Never
Letting go
In your eyes I see
Happiness.

I wrote this piece about my Fiancé, Travis. He's the most amazing man and I can't wait to marry him and start our life together.
