Company of One
Some may say if one sits without another that he is alone;
but this is not so; like the moon, one may be enough company to itself in the evening sky.
Solitude is like a duet meant to be sung by only one;
the entertainment exceeds the worry of the misinterpretation.
Being by oneself is, indeed, like the color black;
perhaps like a void, yet also noble.
Solitude is not loneliness; solitude is as comforting as an enjoyable book near a lit fireplace in winter.
