Bathe, Drench and Float
I run into the dark sea
and am asked
How did it feel swimming in your own thick, mellow grief?
I am scared to run, I am scared to plunge.
by day I press my bones
I smell the night and disappear
I press the strength, look for purpose in light
I discover them
and wait for them to discover me.
when they find me
I will ask them, if they have ever pressed their bones
or gotten lost in dark, smoke and night
everyday clean, everyday fresh, everyday cream.
