Hope
It burns and it dims
Lights flicker out
Happiness fades
But who am I to judge the darkness
Night
Fear of the unknown
Lost in our own souls
Helpless
Alone and afraid
Close your eyes
Listen to the rhythm of the silence
Louder than any word
Here we are
Alone, afraid, helpless, hopeful
Stand together
Apart you won’t find your way
Use your help and your company
Take the hope and the fear
Face this life as your own
Kiss your old self goodbye
