You Don't Love Me Anymore
I’ve noticed how you look at me
I've noticed how you act
I’ve noticed how you don’t hug me
Let alone kiss me
You run away when I want to see you
It feels as though
You don’t love me anymore
I see the way way you look at me
with those beautiful brown eyes
I see the way I smile
With a huge grin of happiness
You embrace me with a hug
barely but you do
And it shows that you care for me
But if feels as though
You don’t love me anymore
I don’t know the reason why
Maybe its you parents
Who have complete control
Maybe it’s that fear
Of leaving schools because of me
Maybe it is because of one big fact
You don’t love me anymore
Is it something I did
Was I too clingy
Was I too obsessive
Was it my movie talk
Was it my nerdiness
Was It my disobedience
Like not going to class
Or not leaving when your parents came
Does it lead to one big fact
You don’t love me anymore
Was it my age
Was it my grade
And the fear of getting caught
That made you drive away
That leads to one big fact
You don’t love me anymore
You made me not be afraid of the past
You made me defeat my evil self
You pushed me to do better
You were the first girl I’ve ever asked out
You were the first girl I’ve ever kissed
You were the first person I ever said
I love you
But I know the fact remains:
You don’t love me anymore
But although you don’t love me anymore
You still care for me
You are still there for me
You want me to be safe
You want me to succeed
You want the best for me
You still love me, in a way
You don’t love me anymore
But you love me
As a friend
I think that we can still be together
I think that we could talk
I think that we could hang out \ Than to leave
I think that we will have feelings
for each other
But just as friends
Because the fact remains:
You don’t love me anymore
But you love me
As a friend
I need you in my life
I don’t want you to go away
You are my main motivator
You are my best friend
Even though I may get sad
and cry and get into tears
I rather you love me as a friend
Than to leave
Although you love me
As a friend
I hope that we could still be together
Either now or in the future
Because the fact remains:
I still love you
And I hope that you can love me once more.
