Thump, thump, thump.
The nails
pierce the flesh.
The new covenant
falls from
the wounds,
as He
breathes his last words..
It is finish.
Spectators mourn
the loss.
All of creation
watches as He
is entombed, and seeing
the entrance is blocked
by stone.
One day passes,
then another and
another. The entrance opens
and the
chamber is empty.
He has risen!
Hosanna in the
Highest!
