Crack the Sky

I hear their voices even now
Joined together in exultation
And I try
Oh, how I try
To sing with them
The true Sons of Adam
And Daughters of Eve
Seeing past sun and moon and stars
But I am still earthbound
Dreaming of a day when I too will crack the sky
