Beats Studio
Plugged in
And oblivious
This IV keeps my life-blood going
Relieves the tensions, keeps them at bay
For now
The constant drip knocks anything aside by brute force
But this cancer, my cancer keeps pressing
Pressing
Pressing from the outside
An unstoppable force and an immovable object meet-
And everything is cancelled out
In this void, there is only a faint echo
A muffled call
And those who succumb to the disease
Are too proud to know when to get help
To need help
‘Cause I’ll get rid of this when I can survive without it
Mark my words, I’ll yank this needle out
The drip will stop
It will, I promise
When I can survive
When I can survive
