January 26, 2015
I have never understood my need to breathe
in till i attempted to fill my lungs and I couldnt
Pain in my chest as it rose and fell
pin pricks dancing on my esophagus
making it hard to breathe
hard to see
And I never understood my need for you
until I reached for where I kept you in my heart
and you slipped through my fingers
indescribable sorrow and spite were my enigma
lak of air and lack of life
homeostasis corrupted
life everlasting never to fully be
