90% of the Crappy Time
The reason why
romance
includes one special person
and one unsure,
is because our hearts beat for the vivid moments.
The first look
at another's special face.
Our eyes
memorize
the colors and shapes that attract us
without words.
It's magnetic
and electric
and that's what sells at Barnes and Noble.
But
ninety percent of the crappy time
it's that Special Person
staring
at the other
Special
Person.
And one thinks they are the Unsure one
but the other thinks they are the Unsure one.
They both think
Maybe they will come over here
and say the first hello.
But
they don't.
So
guess what?
They never magnetize,
energize,
magnify.
Never mystify the world
with their budding romance.
And so the story never touches pen to page
and
their world is never written.
