is this what it takes to write poetry
is this all
four little things
that compose the beauty

can everyone be a poet
and not even know it
see what i did there
i rhymed

is this a poem
its just thoughts
that run through my head
run like a treadmill
that was a simile

am i a poet
i wrote this
but
            it
                       is
                 just
words

what makes up a poem
is it eloquent phrasing
or
just luck of the draw

what made Whitman so great
im great
i can write 52 lines all about myself
me me me me me
who cares
why so great

i can write a poem
i think i just did
right?
