Seasonal cycle
At the dawn of New Years
Winter still lingers
From the pearly white snow
To the frozen river glow
The Christmas spirit is quite bright
Happiness had already taken flight
The months roll by
And winter slowly dies
The smell of honey clings to the air
While the wind whistles by your hair
Flowers bloom
Trees stand upright
As spring brings it warm delight
Time seems to fly away
It's almost time for vacations
And all children shout hurray
Heat and sweat seem to be extreme
To the rescue is ice cream
This is the beautiful season of summer
Just waiting to be discovered
Water begins to tumble down
Which seems to fall from the heavens
Cleansing every single town
From the tip tap of rain
To the magnificent flowing rivers
Comes the serenity of monsoon days
As the only traces of monsoon become weakly drizzles
The leaves begin to sprinkle down from trees
The colour of the landscape transition into a shade of golden brown
As these leaves reward the Earth with a special crown
The sense of autumn is in the air
Basking the Earth with all it's glory and flair
And we loop back to the beginning of it all
Making you shiver and quiver
Winter has begun to call
From hot chocolate and warm family dinners
To cosy sweaters and blankets
Winter provides a fitting end to another year in our wonderful planet
