That Day I Lost You
I never thought it could happen to me, my life felt so pain free.
Till that faithful day and that one phone call that rips your heart out.
Everything falls apart and no one can change it.
From being pain free to being full of sorrow and regret.
I know it’s not goodbye, but life without you is just unthinkable.
With stabbing needles in my heart as the tears rush down my face.
My head throbs, my heart pounds, and I can’t breathe.
My life went from acceptable to bad.
From the day I last seen you I never thought you’d be gone the next.
From the first time I seen your face I never imagined that the end would come so soon.
That day I lost you is printed in my brain.
That day I lost you is the day my life changed.
