Two broken people
Hes the only one that understands her. She’s the only one that can understand him. Two broken people with two broken hearts with cracks down the middle. Two that hurt but shouldn't hurt. Two rigid edges brought here by the pain. From my room, I hear them but I just block out the terrible screams.
Their fights are secret. They send weird signals to each other. They grow up and grow apart and grab the old memories with their wandering brain and bite down on the bad memories. This is how they stay.
Let one forget the lies, they’d all drop like daisies in a glass. Each with their arms around each other. Stay, stay, stay he tells her. She stays.
When shes too sad and too worried, when she is so tiny against this huge world. When there is nothing left to live for. Two who grew separate ways. Two who hurt and keep hurting. Two whose only reason is to move forward.
