untitled document
his bite is bitter
but his words are sweet
as he reaches for her
yet under the seat
he’s holding on to me
and touching my soul
when what’s really there
is nothing at all
he’s left my body set
on a slow, slow burn
while he looks at her
and she has yet to learn
that yes, i’m there
and yes, i see
that he’s hurting you too
while pleasuring me
he’s moving with me
and stirring my soul
all at once i
feel his magnetic pull
this moment isn’t real
his words are fake
but the way he feels
is worth the mistake
and she stands by
pretending to sleep
while she wonders what
he’s got under her feet
another one of them
that’s all he’ll say
to keep himself
feeling that way
and thus he nears
the end of his rope
one stretched so thin
of three-sided hope
