Thou may think of me as desired, to idolize or villanize me whichever you may choose. but gaze upon me and thou sall not see the husk of a man! for all my sins and all my bliss, i am anything but hollow <br /> -Ansem_Unlimited

There is nothing quite like the scent of pines
The crunch of ginger, & slow passing time
Twenty four days of bells & song
& Sunday masses, to read the psalms

To chocolate hot
& winters cold
To surprises great
& traditions old
For family close & far apart
We stay together heart to heart

To feel the love of one another
To treat each stranger just like a brother
Each Christmas song, line for line
& the lovely smell of pine

The author's comments:

This is beautiful and has shown an entire wonderful day of Christmas within one poem. It's amazing and is the most original Christmas poem I have ever read.

I'm so impressed! I really enjoyed how you took an overused topic and made it interesting to get into.

Wow. I have to admit, I'm usually not a fan of Christmas poems - I'm kind of a Grinch, I guess - but this was really impressive. I just wish I had found it closer to Christmas. I loved how you used the scent of pine to open and close the poem, and how the rhyme scheme made it almost like a carol. Beautifully written.

I love this! it is very good, and I can practically smell the pine! It is extremely descriptive, and you are very good at painting picture for your readers. I enjoyed it very much :)

I love this poem! Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I've been really stressed out with finals lately, so this really helped to get me in the spirit!
