Tribute to all
I had finally given in,
To the cold and the pain.
For there was nothing left,
Here for me to gain.
Then a figure appeared,
In silhouettes of light.
Those people who stood there,
Gave me a reason to fight.
The world was cruel before you came,
And cleared the shadows away.
I am glad you saved me…
Before my heart began to decay.
You revived me from the dark,
By giving me new life.
Now the world will pay,
For all its hate and strife.
You all are my friends and never forget,
That you are all my reasons.
That I continue to press on,
Through the constantly changing seasons.
And I know it seems like I’m in pain,
But trust me… your quite right.
Before I had you all with me,
There was no future in sight.
