Christmas Spirit
It is in the air,
the aroma of fresh wine
the singing of Yuletide carols
I love this season
when all the streets
are christmasly decorated
When Jesus is the reason
for this festive season
it comes once in a year
the tinkling of bells
the lightening on Christmas trees
as I go to bed every night
the mass choir at
the Old church
lures me to sweet sleep.
with their beautiful carols
everywhere is now foggy
and people's lips are CRACKING
Harmattan is here
bringing us its seasons greetings
Bethlehem is jubilating
and Christians are celebrating
Its Christmas
