Sweet Rain
Raindrops gently kiss my soft skin as they glide down from the Heavens
My ears are greeted with the rumbling of the skies
The ground rejoices to finally have a drink after being thirsty so long
Streams of collected rain fall of the roof of this trailer house
The smell of glorious rain
Oh! How it calms my mind
I lean back and close my eyes
I am filled with the wonders of rain
I hear drops hit the metal roof and the wind chimes sing
The wind howls in the trees
The sounds blend and make a beautiful melody
My soul rejoices
Sweet rain please stay.
