Wet Sand
Be the ocean
Not the sand
Change the landscape
Make lots of noise
No sounds
Just for yourself.
Make them all dream
They could kiss your life
I'm sand.
It's dark down here
Don't they ever wash your feet?
I forget
It's covered in me
That thing I hate to see
Walk
Walk
Walk
towards the see
How can I compare?
I'm not that smooth
When I make an impact
Believe me
It HURTS
And I don't discriminate
Yet each day
I feel that same tide brush against me
What a soft hand?
As if to remind me
With each touch
I'm no more than second best
Where lost dreams wash away
