the broken
lipstick and make-up on,
she prepares to escape her room once again.
throwing clothes and shoes out of her closet,
overlooking anything that wont give her what she wants.
no stranger to going through that process herself.
a black dress catches her attention
completely consumed by her curves,
she runs her fingers around every bump.
a smile curls up on her face, no happiness but relief.
grateful that her scars cant be felt, cant be seen.
slow steps towards her mirror,
bloody tears start rolling down her cheeks.
her soul unable to keep secret the damage its been through anymore.
she looks up to a see a disguise made of broken pieces of her being,
broken pieces that cry out.
but she tosses the mirror away, its not what she wants.
