Dreams
The memory of these haunting sweet dreams
The ice inside this broken soul
The loss of childhood glee,
How cold and silent the world now seems
Will I ever feel so whole
As in reverie.
I’ve lost a sense of who I ever was
In this white hot scolding glamour
But my smile never fades,
This fame is my addiction, my love
A soul traded, oh adore,
Perfect icy glades.
I’m flawless in the dirty jet black sunlight
I’ll never cease my wicked grin
Perfection in this din
The spotlight can never shine too bright.
