One more day in hell
Another coin gets thrown in a well
Many doors close in your life
Others just grab the knife
I tend to go for the light
But then you’re lost in a fight
I feel the walls closing in
Please god forgive my sins
People make mistakes as do i
We all laugh we all cry
We all smile we all die
But please don’t close the door
Just cause I mourn a little more
Release the birds from their cage
And smell the burning sage
One day we’ll be free
And believe in what we see
But for now as it goes
