There will be a day
When I graduate from high school
Leave all the pain and suffering in the past
And move on to become a better person
Maybe it will take years perhaps a lifetime
But one day the time will click

Most didn’t believe
I would make it this far
Doubtful thoughts always occurred
When people recalled of my risky behaviors

No one had faith in me
They thought I couldn’t deal with the pain
They were wrong I’m still standing

People come and go throughout life
My time will come one day
But until that day arises
I will make the most out of every minute

I won’t give up the pain and agony
Of succeeding in life
I’m a fighter

One day my time will come
But not today
Today is a new day
