Highs and lows, with every emotion in between.
From happy and sad, to angry and confused.

But when I saw you i couldn't  stop looking at you,
The sparkle in your brown eyes to your perfect white smile.

We met on alone day back in August,
It’s been hard to let the thought of  you go.

We went from strangers bumping into each other,
To friends when we switched numbers at dinner,
And now were boyfriend and girlfriend since the
Last time we meet in the hotel in San Antonio.

I couldn't be anymore excited to start a new relationship.
But then you started going around the world with your friends.
I couldn’t smell the cologne that i love on you or the silly way you laugh.

You go from place to place making others laugh and smile.
While making a lot of money doing what you love.
Everyone smiling and singing back to you from moms to dads,
Brothers and sisters, even grandma joined in the fun.
But you forgot about me, the girl from Michigan.
The girl who you ran into, literally.
The girl who worried about you day and night,
worrying about your safety or if you got there.

Right when I think you forgot about me,
You surprised me.
Rose, every color red, pink, white, yellow.
You also had a box, a box that held my promise ring.
A promise that you will never forget me,
That i would always be in your mind.
The promise that you’ll  never stop loving me no matter the distance.

We were close, closer than ever,
Hand in hand,
Hip to hip.
Nothing could move us from each others side,
Not even my parents.

Sadly, that night ended when you had to leave.
I walked you to the boarding station,
I looked into your deep brown eyes and kissed you,
With all the passion in the world.
I told you that I would be right here,
Waiting for you to come back,
And see me again.
