Falling
Life has its
Twists and turns
That no one can see
But You
Bad news
Hits us
Hard
And we can't move
Too shocked to speak
At first
Then the tears come
As it sets in
We just can't
Or won't believe
The unbelievable
Truth
And when we finally
Accept it
Everything is clear
When You're near
Because it was
Planned to happen
And Your plan
Is always best

Again, surrender is one of the hardest things for us to do. We humans have the gift of free will, and with that comes innate stubborness and pride, which only gets us into trouble. So, sometimes God has to throw us a curveball to get our attention. The act of surrendering is usually interpreted as a weakness, but that's not the case. You are no weaker than anyone else on this planet when you surrender. No, you just recognize your weakness, and choose to do the right thing with it. And that's the way it should be.
