As Summer Ends
My soul is as vast as the ocean,
Always feeling so cold.
Each passing summer i felt myself becoming old,
Like a tree,growing,changing...
Everywhere i looked there were green, luscious fields.
Leaves began to brown, as summer yielded.
I spent many days by lovely lakes,
Where everyday seemed to grow darker,dimmer...
Rain began to fall,
clear, wet droplets fell upon my cheeks,
And i realized they were my tears.
Thats when i began to fear
The wading pool of adulthood
