Mythic Heartache
A dragon’s call heard far and wide,
As crashing down like the untamed tide.
Roaring loud to drown out the lies,
Dishonesty is why this dragon cries.
A phoenix tear is said to heal,
But what of the pain we dare not feel?
It’s wings are oread and wrapped to protect.
May it be long enough for us to reflect.
The werewolf outcasted by the likes of man,
All because the could not understand.
The sorrow in his hunt for a mere friend,
Now condemned to solitude till his lost end.
The immortal’s walk is forever alone,
For all he loves, ends under stone.
While watch life’s treasures begin to fade,
The pain he wishes so hard to trade.
