Loyalty
Loyalty watched you walk down the road covered in
lavender. Yes lavender, she’d always stay by your side.
Photos, never the same one twice always reminding her of you.
Caramel apple cider, she loved that too, always drinking it listening to your
stories. She would come up to you at the park, as if she actually knew you, feeling the
grass poke needles into her back, but she didn’t mind, for she was with you, reading
books for hours, but it never bothered her, for she loved staying there, watching the
stars. One by one, filling the night sky with light.
