Where I'm From
I am from Brewers games with my father
and playing catch in the back yard.
From tailgating at Miller Park with my family
to waiting for an hour to get out of the ballpark.
I am from a obnoxious Greek family,
and Greek salad four times a week.
From going to church and
praying every night.
I am from ugly blue tile in the kitchen,
and crystal clean counters everywhere.
From clean cut grass outside in the summer,
and purple siding on the outside.
I am from Anthony, Jennie, Brandon, Ashley and Zach,
and Kiki, George, Yianni and Stavros.
From David, Lisa, Lukas and Bryce,
and John, Elaine, and Stephanie, Lexi, and Geordin.
I am from mud brown eyes with light brown hair,
and sausage like fingers, and never being in despair.
From having a Michael Strahan gap between my two front teeth,
to falling because I’m constantly clumsy.
