death by insomnia
I'm tired enough to close my eyes and dream, but I'm not tired enough to calm my heart and sleep. I can hear the heavy breathing of him from the other room, just like it would be as if it were next to my ear. I can hear the faint whispers from beyond the void. The figures, they lurk in every corner and amongst the shadows. Will I be okay this time? Can I make it to the day light with my sanity still intact this time? Just before I hear the familiar dragging of a tiresome soul come down the never ending hall of despair, my thoughts trail into an unforgettable cavern. Only to be brought back by a repetitive greeting.
