Pollution

The azure blue water reflects all,

Not a lie it will tell.

However, danger will soon befall,

And the truth will soon dispel.

Plop! Splash!

What was that sound?

It was a can,

Hitting the ground.

Over the edge it slowly rolls,

Until it drops into the water,

Polluting its soul.

Day by day, bit by bit,

The once clear water,

Becomes filled with grit.

Night by night, year by year,

The once clear water,

Is instilled with fear.

The beautiful water,

Which once attracted many

With its beautiful waves,

Seemed so friendly.

But now, the water is dead,

And no one dares to tread

In the water, ever again.

Children of the future,

Will not know what’s a lake,

Can never see a snowflake

We should all stop pollution

It’s for our future’s sake

i wrote this piece concerning pollution , as i feel that it is a huge problem. At the rate we are going , the world will eventually be completely polluted. Hence , i want people to realize that pollution is a horrible thing , and they should do their best to stop it
