                                 Bake that beef pie, hot and puffy!

                                 Hmm… What’s that scent

                                 With that pungent odor

                                 It really makes one wonder

                                 How something could smell like what comes before thunder

                                 Then I saw it

                                 The dark, thick, hazy, fog

                                 Swinging in the ceiling

                                 Giving me that awful feeling

                                 Oh no! The ribs have been charred!

                                 Oh no! The macaroni is burning!

                                 Oh no! The beef pie has split open!

                                 OH NO! EVERYTHING is going wrong!

                                 I’m so sorry

                                 I ruined your dinner

                                 I feel so sad and cold inside

                                 Just as if it were winter

                                 All I wanted was to have a good Thanksgiving
