A Keen Eye
In this busy world,
there are hidden treasures
that are overlooked countless times.
The cool, shimmering dew of the grass.
The bold, undulating blue of the ocean.
The delicate wildflower pushing through the dark earth.
All are masked by the bright screens,
all those pixels creating false images
that our tired eyes devour.
Though hidden and ignored,
these pieces of beauty are eternal,
and it only takes a lingering, thoughtful eye
to find them.
