Acceptance
I stare around me, seeing everyone talking
Everyone having fun, everyone except me
I just stand there waiting, waiting for something
But what? I don’t know
People seemingly coming from everywhere around me
Having so much fun, everyone talking, laughing
Having what seems like a blast, but me
No, I’m surrounded by those I call my friends
Forever alone, waiting for someone to talk to me
I feel so lonely, no one to talk to
But for some reason, I’m ok with that
