Blurred Lights
And the day ends
Thus darkness descends
And the mechanical stars
Give us sight as we drive
To seek the warmth of the heart
In this cold and everlasting night.
And I thought I perceive the world so clearly
That I understand the world’s true beauty
But as I release my eyes from distress
I saw the blurred lights of the mechanical stars,
As if flowers on a wedding dress,
And the moon is the bride.
Red, yellow, and green
As common and clear as it seems
Contains a hidden secret
About the violet sky
That can only be understood
If one have two pairs of eyes.
And the other pair I occupy
I’ve seen the secret of the beautified sky
Blurry and indefinite resolutions
As bright and infinite as the normal heaven
And when put on my other pair of eyes
I saw the place I called my haven.
