I lay back in the soft summer grass
I feel the breeze softly touch my warm skin
I breathe the cool summer air
I look up at the clouds
Such comfort is brought with them
My mind is freed of all thought
I am relieved of all pain
I look at all of God’s beautiful creation
And marvel at everything that He has done
I wish that I could stay here forever
Here in my special secluded land
The summer months are sweet like honey
Wonderful in every way
I feel alive and free
Here in the beauty of my Creator.
