In these days
you write me
in these short days
of summer
and never ending sun
you write
I read the words
the words said by every girl
every boy
said by me, once
The words that send a signal
a distress
through the air between our worlds
the words I cannot stop
there's nothing I can say
I will give you friends and sprinkles
but nothing I can write
nothing that can be made
by this pen
that smells of sickness and simplicity
will ever stop the tears
