When Peril Reigns
The land of white and blue,
Now turns colourful!
Sprouting green and violet
It elated the despair
And the arrival of summer was celebrated!
The lion of this jungle,
Claiming his authority
Marched past . . .his land.
He is the magician here
Who secretly keeps all the tricks and spells to himself.
. . .A true professional!
Albeit a professional,
It can’t help keeping the truth
That naked truth which its burdened eyes do speak!
They say they’re shocked and don’t want it to happen
They know they’re following the footsteps of the dodo and dinosaur!
Still magnificent are these painters
who paint their world of white and grey
To purple and green, to gold and crimson!
Each day like a fighter, they do celebrate life,
They do growl, they do sacrifice. . .
