Closure
There exists a slight disconnect
Between the worlds we live in
We tried to create a bond
In a time and place it can’t exist in
Why did I try to pretend this isn't
Anything-its many things
But time isn't on our side
And I feel the end approaching
I am waiting for the time,
The days that run forward,
And I, I am waiting,
For the night that you realize
That I am nothing
That you see it like I did,
We were nothing
I have gotten used to the fact that one day
I will be insignificant
To the person you will be that
I will never get to see
Days will pass on and the nights will frame
Your lovely face, as you grow
Into someone that everyone will love
And adore
They will call your name,
And someone will get to hold you in their arms
I feel my end approaching
