The mountains and the sea
The mountains and the sea
Will one day meet me
Rock and water we will form together
Encased in one another
For when my soul departs this earth
My body will disperse
Spread wide and far across the land
My arms and legs will turn to sand
My flesh will mix with ocean salt
My blood will seep into deep rock faults
My bones will sink into the crust,
Nurture the children of the trees
The wind will steal my hair and teeth
Turn them with the gold flaked leaves
My skin will dust the surface
Fill the air, with no true purpose
And one day I will turn to gas
fall with the rain and snow
And float with the rising sun
To the mountains and the sea
For together we shall be,
As one.
