You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”

― William W. Purkey

Oh little girl I see you there across the way,so distant yet so near.

For no longer am I so little as you.
Oh little girl, I feel your joy and your sorrow all the same
How I admire your frivolity, your charm, your innocence
The sweet and caring smile you lend and the ignorant blindness your still possess
Oh little girl, you have a long way to come.
You have so much to see and hear and feel. You have some much you are going to do
Let “The road not taken,” be your path

Let nothing hold you back from your dreams
Attainable are your goals so close within reach, and your dreams lay in the small palms of your hands
Live life as if at any moment, your entity would no longer be of existence

Sing, shout, scream, love like it’s your last moment, for you never know when your time shall come
Oh little girl, you have such a long road ahead

Oh little girl, this shall not be your calling forever, because one day…you won’t be so little anymore

You’ll have followed your dreams and soared through the heavens but then also have been knocked down, rejected and grievously alone
I guess I can’t tell you how life really works, for you it’s much different than me
But please listen now if to nothing else
Oh little girl…live your life and be free

I right now am 14 turing 15 very soon, and despite the " old soul", some say i have i cant help but think there i so much yet i dont know. This was just a poem about the coming of age and what i would have wanted to tell to my younger self about what life has to offer and how to handle it all.
