It's only me
I enter the room
of empty faces i presume
of hidden lives, i can only assume
i start to search for a table in the room
carrying with me my indomitable costume
there futile eyes glaring, i breathe there fume
to feel what they have i can only consume
i find a table in the room
next to a curly freckled boy with perfume
docile but smiling, like a brides groom
is next to me with no elbowroom
confidence to hassle up the volume
The noisy boy in the classroom
but the sweet boy in the ballroom
Is shoulder to shoulder, next to me in the room
My silly tingly feeling is butterflies i assume
but even next to me, to him i'm entombed
like he doesn't notice me in the room
hes just a boy but i feel so forever doomed
