I am from sandy beaches,
old back roads,
and warm weather.
I am from copying my sister at everything
(her clothes, her toys, her mannerisms).
I am from coffee and Chipotle,
i’m from Lori and Frank.
I’m from “be a strong girl.” and “its ok to be sad.”,
from “act like an adult.” and “go be a kid.”
I am from family first,
mother knows best, and always tell the truth.
I am from spaghetti and diet coke.
From divorced parents and constantly moving houses.
