"Light can be found even in the darkest of times if only one remembers to turn on the light". -Albus Dumbledore

I can feel them crawling under my skin.
Their claws rip at my flesh until there is blood.
They aren't satisfied until blood drips leaving a pool, their souvenir.
They gnaw at my bones till it aches and I am not able to stand.
Don’t worry they say you weren’t gonna go anywhere anyways.
Ears ringing, but it doesn't stifle the cackling.
Soon they win.
Eyes wide open, They are visible to the blind.
Eating me from the inside out.
Shaken they still won't run.
They appear in front of me.
Ugly.
As if i'm staring into a cracked mirror.
I run my fingers across the dried evidence.
I love you too don't worry.

Miles away I feel your skin.
The curve of your lips.
That puzzle piece.
Words lost never finding their way back.
Hit me! Go ahead and do it!
They take over.
Vibrations through my body.
My mark has been left.
Evidence will fade but will always leave a scar.
I hate you don't worry.

Palms sweaty.
Hands numb.
Faded red.
Black and blue.
They feed off of the pain.
Another human stands off in the distance, watching from a far afraid to get to close.
Beaten down I fall to my knees.
You can’t save me you know.
The connection is too strong and he can feel it too.
Faces stained from tracks of the demons.

This is beautifully hideous. (That's a compliment by the way).

Seize the day. No procrastination. No backward looks. You can't put God's kingdom off until tomorrow. Luke 9:62

This poem is so full emotion. You drew me in, and I could almost feel the pain. Fantastic poem... I hope to see more like this in the future.
