Little often do strained eyes meet–
Don't throw yourself at one's feet

The love you value, given and returned
Equally, is rarer than fancies spurned

Never worry before your time–
Be patient; pure love is not a crime

Better fortune than the time having pined
Away; truer treasure of love, worth the find
