The Present is a Gift
The present is a gift taken for granted.
The past is a gift unwrapped and crinkled, waiting to be neglected.
But the future is full of potential in opportunity.
Not just an empty box, but a hunk of clay wrapped in paper.
The clay can be molded into anything imaginable, but it's wrapped for the illusion of an existence past the present.
But the present is each second wasted, each second cherished, and each second preserved.
For the gifts that are placed before the bridges of our noses are not yet paths to cross.
Rather, enjoy the moments given
Because they won't be there much longer.
