What Love Had To Offer
Love was told she had three months
And over the course of those three months
Love lost her hair and her strength
Love could no longer do things she enjoyed
And though Love was left weak
And Love was bed-ridden
Love still had much to offer
Love offered wisdom
Love offered laughs
Laughs that led to memories
Memories of when Love was better
And when those three months passed
And Love's health started to falter
Those memories were essential
Because to lose love
Was to lose the power Love brought
And the meaning of all Love had to offer
