Everyone's looking to make the money that'll support them enough. We all know it, we constantly hear it the complaints how the economy is too rough. Some of us, in hopes of a more ends need, we turn to investments, hopefully securing our more perfect future, when we need to look to things mothers and fathers should really nurture. This thing we should nurture is what I'd call a real student. But then again, how are we suppose to do this when students turn in assignments in hopes of a decent grade. There is no lying, all they end up doing is degrade. Then again, whats the point of a test? They're as easy as 1,2,3 as long as I have my cheat sheet reading a, b, and d. Ahhh, the life of our investment. But what can we expect when the people to raise them can't even afford to be here, their life saving payment is no more than mere. No wonder they just write "A pleasure to teach!" instead of a students real characteristics, or substitute temporary memorization for true learning, and even As and Bs for true understanding. Maybe it would be different if the student was happy, but lets face it, they're as happy as a student. There is no room for personality to thrive, when out there they can barely survive. But again, what do you expect when nerds think its never good enough. At the same time, bullies bombard them with bullets, when it's really their home life thats rough. But it's these same bullies who teach smart girls, "Dumb is cute." Lets face it, because of this, their chances of a more perfect future is just minute, Don't worry, there is still the few students who dare to dream of their trip to the moon. "Don't worry Honey," they say, "you won't get there soon." At the same time colleges hand out scholarships to the people who can handle a ball, but all that does for the progression of America is the continuation of the brick wall. Don't worry its not great either when they look to the top of the class. They should look to the students who survive homes broken like glass. Man, doesn't our investment look promising? But we all fail to realize its not the system who has failed us, its us who has failed the system. It does what we've created it to do, produce people with no hope and low self-esteem. Its not a complete and utter failure, if it was I wouldn't be writing this right here. But it's time to stop settling for good enough, and start to realize the systems structure is rough.

The author's comments:
It's time to realize the system truly is to rough, but its time the options and voices stop coming from the adults who haven't been in school for years, it should come from the young men and women who live it every day. I was inspired with the hope of change.

While I read this, it seemed more like are... Rap, per say. The intro, could use a bit work, i understand by investment, but imn the beginning its unclear.  Now, the whole writing itself, is extremely thought provoking, its good that you dwindled on this topic, and I concur with you strongly. Times have changed, the system of Americas school(presuming this is the topic) is a terrible system. They, being the system, has the audacity to treat each individual as an equal, when everyone has different strengths. They classify those "smarter" by grades, when that is the worst way possible in a schookl system. Its absolutely horrendous, and I'm glad you broughtthe topic where "dumber is cuter" but, ir wasnt because of bullies. It was due to females being the "lower" gender and I dont need to go into detail, but men didnt want to have relations with a woman who was educated and could think freely of herself, because men believed women were only good for making babies and house work. And the generation gap, many parents do nothing to help strengthen the school systems, because of the many excuses such as "we didnt have tghis opportunity as children" and as aforementioned, times changed. I'm a bit surprises, you brought in the issue of scholarships being given to those who play ball well, instead of those who could find cures for diseases. Extremely, well done. That issue, is important, it shows the terrible "investments" made by schools alike. I enjoyed this piece, I still have thoughts on it, and I will comment more when I can arange them. Your closing, is powerful, "But its time to stop settling for good enough, and start to realize the systems structure is rough." Great, but I believe it could be a bit better, more powerful and enclosing the whole piece, enforcing your and many others opinions. Nevertheless, thought provoking, expresses great ideas as aforementioned. Excwllent job.
